Roy Gollop's talent for capturing the beauty and motion of sea creatures and marine life in wood is evident in each and every sculpture he creates.
Roy's inspiration for much of his sea life sculptures and carvings comes from his life living by and working at sea. His Manta Ray sculptures are inspired from his experiences serving in the Royal Marines where he encountered close up the graceful giants of the tropical oceans. His Manta Ray carvings have proven to be much in demand as his sculptures perfectly capture the motion and beauty of these fascinating and captivating creatures.
Each marine life sculpture is one of a kind, individually hand crafted using traditional wood working techniques. A manta ray carving would enhance a coastal inspired interior or make a perfect eye catching display in a business setting such as a seafood restaurant.
